Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actor and activist. She was born to Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as child actress after she immigrated to the United States. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and from 2020 on - made her famous. In addition to her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also an actor in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was originally selected to voice the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. Because of financial struggles within the family, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly however she dropped out after her second year. She later obtained the GED, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. Through the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
